S’mores in a Pan

Please don’t hate me for what I’m about to say- but I’m KIND OF excited about the start of fall! I’ve always loved Autumn- pretty leaves, hoodies, football games, school shopping, school CLOTHES, late night trips to the lake and BONFIRES. Um, does it get better than that??? I think not. :) And you know that when you’re out around a fire there are just some things that come as part of the package- like making s’mores!

If it were up to me, I would be outside tonight doing just that- but thanks to that monster of a fire we had earlier this summer- that isn’t really an option. So I came up with a solution. S’mores in a Pan. It’s so simple, and even if you don’t get the exact same flavor, they’re still pretty tasty!

So you’ll need two chocolate bars, a box of graham crackers and a bag of regular marshmallows.

To start, spray a nine inch brownie pan with non-stick cooking spray- and line the bottom with one layer of graham crackers. (You might have to break some in half to better cover the bottom of the pan.)

Then cut about 18 marshmallows in half lengthwise and put them on top of the graham crackers.

Then roughly chop both chocolate bars and put the pieces on top of the marshmallows.

Layer again with graham crackers and halved marshmallows

Bake uncovered at 350 until marshmallows are golden brown on top.

You can serve immediately (my preference) or wait until cooled.

Enjoy! :)
